Dr. Gatten has
been in practice in Fergus for over 30 years. His 35 years of clinical experience includes
the examination and treatment of over 12,000 individual patient cases.
The focus of care is based on neuromusculoskeletal
diagnosis, which includes standard orthopaedic tests, appropriate
clinical questioning, and physical examination including appropriate
neurological testing. Radiographic (x-ray) examinations are performed off site, and are
preferably co-ordinated with a patient's medical care, so that test
results are shared and documented with all attending primary contact
(medical and chiropractic) practitioners. Dr. Jon Gatten is a member of the
Canadian
Chiropractic Association, the
Ontario Chiropractic Association, the
World
Federation of Chiropractic, and the
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
He is a registered healthcare provider with the
Restless Legs Syndrome
Foundation.
Dr. Gatten is associated as a healthcare provider
with McMaster Health Sciences as a CAM practitioner for medical student
observation/clinical rounds.
